Past 2021 Events
May 15th – Spring Dust Off
The Spring dust-off event this year will be on May 15th starting at 10am at Grand Rapids Motor Car. Lunch will be provided by GR motorcar. As usual, it will be a Barbeque lunch with all the fixings and we will hold a popular vote car show and give out prizes for the contestants. Each car will fill out a registration card with details about their car for display on the windshield. Grand Rapids motorcar is always happy to answer technical questions and hook up vehicles to run diagnostic codes if anyone is interested. Tom Kilmer, the owner of Grand Rapids Motorcar has graciously sponsored this event for the past 5 years barring 2020 because of you know what but he was thrilled to be able to host it again in 2021 and looks forward to seeing our group again. He has invited his friends who are BMW Enthusiasts to visit and some of them have joined our club. It’s a pretty relaxed event. Very social and this year it will be mostly outdoors.

BMW Michiana Chapter Invites you to the East and Meets West Car Tour.
Beginning at 9:00 AM – Saturday September 26th, BMW enthusiast from all over Michigan, Indiana, Illinois, and Ohio will be joining for a day of socializing and driving. This is a great opportunity to meet new people and show off your cars.
Beginning in South Bend Indiana, Brighton, Lansing, Kalamazoo and Grand Rapids Michigan, area coordinators will be gathering groups of cars for a pleasure filled ride towards our East meets West gathering point. This drive will take approximately 1.5 hours.
Upon arrival at Shorts Root Beer Stand – Coldwater, Michigan we will have a meet and greet opportunity with raffle prizes for both CCA members and non-chapter participants.
The drive-in diner is available for lunch – but pack your own is certainly an option. The Chapter will not be supplying lunch for this event.
After lunch – we will proceed on a short group run – returning to the Coldwater area for our return trips home.
Social Distancing Protocol will be in place – Please maintain a safe distance and where masks when appropriate.
Also, there may be an opportunity to stay late in Coldwater and hit the drive-in movie theatre. More on this later.

Our Chapter will be joining the other German Car Marques at the Gilmore Car Museum – beginning at 9:00 AM on Saturday the 24th. Members and Non – Members Welcome!
A $20.00 per car will be required for entrance to the grounds. This will include museum entrance for the driver and the first passenger! Additional passengers may access the museum for an additional $16 each.
For BMWCCA Michiana Members, the entry fee will get each participant a food voucher for use at either of the Gilmore restaurants as well as entry in our BMWCCA Michiana Chapter raffle.
After lunch – 1:00 PM we will exit the grounds for an optional Color Tour of the local area. This tour will be approximately (1) hour long – returning to the Gilmore for a season farewell.
